What is the best way to care for my custom-made item?

Can I machine wash my custom apparel?

Yes, you can machine wash apparel with sublimation, HTV, and DTF designs. For best results, wash inside out and on a gentle cycle.

Are the designs on my item permanent?

Yes, the designs are permanent, but the longevity depends on following proper care instructions.

Can I iron my apparel with designs on it?

For HTV and DTF designs, iron inside out on low heat. Do not iron directly over vinyl or DTF designs.

Are sublimated items dishwasher safe?

Sublimated items on fabrics are safe for washing machines, but solid surface items like mugs should be hand washed. To maintain longevity, items not recommended for dishwasher use.

Can I use vinyl-decorated items in the microwave?

No, items with vinyl designs should not be used in the microwave, as the heat can damage the vinyl or cause fire with metallic materials.

How durable are DTF designs compared to HTV?

DTF designs tend to be more flexible and durable over time compared to HTV, which can crack with repeated wear and wash.

How long will my custom item last?

With proper care, custom items can last several years. However, exposure to harsh elements or improper care can reduce their lifespan.

Can I request a custom design?

Yes, we accept custom design requests! You can use the Custom Order Form here and we will work with you to create something unique.

What materials are used in the custom items?

We use high-quality materials such as sublimation inks, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), direct-to-film (DTF) transfers, and permanent adhesive vinyl.

Laser Engraving & Cutting

What materials can you engrave or cut?

We can engrave and/or cut:

  • Wood: birch, maple, cherry, walnut, and more (engraving & cutting)
  • Acrylic: various colors and transparencies (engraving & cutting)
  • Leather & faux leather (engraving & cutting)
  • Glass, ceramic, and stone (engraving only)
  • Coated or anodized metal (engraving only)
  • Paper, cardstock, and fabric (cutting only)

Note: We cannot engrave or cut PVC, vinyl, or certain plastics that emit harmful fumes.

Can I bring my own item to be engraved?

Yes! We’re happy to work on customer-provided items as long as the material is compatible and the surface is safe to engrave. Submit a request through our Custom Order form for approval before sending anything in.

What file types do you accept for designs?

We accept SVG, PNG, JPG, AI, and PDF files. Vector files (like SVG or AI) work best for clean engraving and cutting.

What’s the typical turnaround time?

Most orders are completed in 3–7 business days, depending on design complexity and current order volume. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee.

Can I see a preview before my order is made?

Yes! For most custom projects, we offer digital mockups for approval before engraving starts.

How much does engraving or cutting cost?

Pricing depends on the material, size, and complexity of the design. Standard items have flat-rate pricing, and fully custom orders will receive a quote after submission.
